The problem is that anyone can Google “How to pass a drug test.” It’s an easy-to-overcome obstacle for the dishonest and an inconvenience for honest people, who are already beaten down by a weakened economy and who could potentially be deprived of assistance due to false positives (rare, but possible).
It’s not that I enjoy people cheating the system. It’s that I don’t like people being punished due to the poor decisions of others.
