Sarah Palin Writes (giving her benefit of the doubt)

“Had we followed the course advocated by then-candidates Obama and Biden, the Iraq war would be remembered now as a crushing defeat for the United States and our allies. Al Qaeda in Iraq and Iranian supported extremists would have claimed victory over America – with grave implications for us throughout the region and the world. Iraq would have descended into full-scale civil war. Iraq’s neighbor would have likely been drawn into the conflict. Parts of Iraq would have been made a safe haven for terrorists to train and plan for attacks far beyond Iraqi borders.”

So there you have it, folks. Sarah Palin is capable of traveling to alternate dimensions and letting us know EXACTLY what would’ve happened. Notice she didn’t say that this stuff “may have” happened or that it “could have” happened. It flat out would have happened…except for that “likely” part. That’s debatable…

Why is she so convinced that the entire world would have collapsed in upon itself had it not been for a single decision? She speaks so highly of America and its military, then she portrays them as being so fragile.

That’s the only thing I want to address right now. That paragraph just amazed me.
